Operation Ornaments: Loving Disaster Survivors
Donation protected
Operation Ornaments is a non-profit organization that provides emotional support, hope, and love in the form of handmade ornaments to disaster survivors. 100% of all donations are used to support disaster survivors. Our board of directors and coordinators are all volunteers. We have thousands of dollars in ongoing expenses to make the distribution of donated ornaments possible, and we are so grateful for your support.
Survivors who have lost homes express that after journals and photos, they miss their Christmas ornaments the most. Since 2020 people from around the United States, and the world, have donated 124,000 hand-crafted ornaments serving more than 7600 families. Our desire is to help survivors understand they have not been forgotten. In 2024 we served survivors in military families and locals in Guam, and survivors in Tennessee, Ohio, Mississippi, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. 2025 will be an even bigger year with more than 24 different billion-dollar disasters happening in 2024.

Your donations mean so much just "listen" to a few of the dozens of notes we have received:
"I don’t think the people who make these and the people who go to the trouble of receiving them and distributing them truly know what they mean to us. The 12 I received will proudly be displayed I had been collecting ornaments for 65 years and lost them all. My tree small as it was really felt special with the handmade ornaments knowing the care love and time that went into them for a complete stranger to care enough to make them and send them to us. Thank everybody involved and I pray GOD blesses you as much as you have all blessed us." Paula
"Our family with 3 small sons suffered significant tornado damage last December in KY and we are still not back in our home. Thank you so much for the ornaments we received from you all this year. My boys love them and they gave us a lot of joy and cheer knowing that our difficult year hasn't been forgotten. Thank you so much!" Joanna
"Thank you. I now know that God has not forgotten me" Anna
