Our dear friend Susan is in the fight of her life. Yesterday, she suffered a severe heart attack and is now in critical care, relying on an external heart pump. She will need additional life-saving surgery and an extended hospital and rehabilitation stay.

This is not the first time Susan has faced an overwhelming health crisis. She previously battled a devastating infection that spread rapidly, shutting down major organs and claiming her hands and lower legs. Through it all, Susan has shown incredible strength, resilience, and a fierce will to keep going.

But right now, Susan and her son, Jay, need our help.

Why We’re Raising Funds

Jay is Susan’s full-time caretaker. While she is hospitalized, he won’t receive the financial support he depends on to cover their daily living expenses. We are raising funds to help with:

✅ Mortgage & Household Bills – So Susan and Jay have a home to return to

✅ Medical & Rehabilitation Costs – To ensure Susan gets the care she needs, in case there are expenses beyond what insurance covers

✅ Hospital-Related Expenses – Gas, parking, and food add up quickly when caring for a loved one in the hospital
