Support Susie Becerra & Family with Covid Expenses
On January 31, 2021, Susie Becerra tested positive for covid-19. Three days later, she was admitted to the hospital and placed on a ventilator. Her sickness progressed further, and she was then admitted to the ICU, where she had to be intubated. Susie is still currently in the ICU battling the virus. Prayers and support are appreciated.
Having a loved one who is in the ICU fighting for their life is incredibly hard in itself. But because Susie plays such an integral part in supporting her family, her children feel this tragedy even more so.
Susie is the primary caretaker of her son, Ricardo, who is disabled with Multiple Sclerosis and needs care 24/7. Susie also helps care for her four-year-old granddaughter Vada, and has done so for her entire life.
This leaves Susie's daughter Cindy unable to work, as she now replaces her mother as the primary caretaker of her brother Ricardo. Because of this, she no longer has the means for her daughter Vada's childcare. Cindy is a hairstylist and has been unable to work for the majority of the last year due to the 3 separate shutdowns of the Beauty Industry in California. She was due to return to work after the most recent shut down of nearly 2 months the same week her mother fell ill.
My hope for this gofundme campaign is to relieve Susie's family of financial stress so that they can focus on supporting her in recovery during this difficult time.
Updates on Susie will be added here weekly. The Leon Family appreciates your love and support.
