Support Sylvie's Journey to Care for Her Dad

Hi Everyone! Sylvie here. I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit, seeking your support in a time of need. My father, who has been living in Munich, Germany, for the past 20 years, is facing a severe decline in his health due to Parkinson's and dementia. He is now also handicapped.

My father had to move overseas when I was just fifteen due to financial struggles, and since then, I’ve only been able to see him once a year. Those precious moments have been the highlight of my life, but they’ve also been few and far between. Now, as his condition worsens, it’s more crucial than ever for me to be by his side.

Traveling from Los Angeles to Munich is costly, and with the current situation, I need to raise about $5,000 to cover the expenses for this urgent trip. This includes airfare, accommodation, and other necessary costs to ensure I can stay with him and provide the love and support he desperately needs.

Anyone who knows me understands how much my father means to me. He’s been my rock, my guiding light, and even from afar, his influence has shaped the person I am today. As he battles Parkinson's, dementia, and a host of other health issues, it’s heartbreaking to know that our time together may be limited. I want to make the most of the time we have left and be there for him in his most vulnerable moments.
