Support Tabitha Reed Porter's Celebration of Life

Update: My Sweet, Beautiful Sister gained her Angel Wings at 5:18 11-22-24. She is No longer in pain.

She will Forever be the Absolutely Strongest, Most Brave, Fearless Woman I have ever known

At this Point we are asking for help to Celebrate her Life, spread her Legacy, and help with all of her medical expenses

As I'm sure most of you know by now, my sister Tabitha Reed Porter (44) has been in the hospital for over 7 weeks now fighting for her life!

She has lupus and the complications have been absolutely unimaginable. She's been intubated 5 times now and consistently on the vent for 17 days this time.

On Tuesday, she had a massive stroke that affected the left side of her brain, and she also had multiple mini-strokes that affected her brain stem and frontal lobe.

She is currently on a constant 24/7 dialysis machine, and things aren't looking good.

She has suffered tremendously through this process, and we are praying for a miracle.

My sister is an amazing woman! She has been a loving wife for 25 years and an awesome mom for 20 years. She is the oldest of 4 siblings. She loves her family, Dixon (her pupper dog), the Vols, and the beach.

Before this lupus flare decided to ravage her body and her life, she was working full-time.

So not only is her income missing, but my brother-in-law has missed a lot of work for 7.5 weeks being there for her. When she was first hospitalized, she was in Murfreesboro, but 2 weeks ago she was rushed to Vanderbilt (Nashville), so travel expenses have started to add up as well. Not to mention that at some point the hospital bills will start rolling in, and they are going to be astronomical.

I came here in hopes of trying to take some stress off of our family in our time of unimaginable grief and heartache.
