Support Tammie's Search for her missing son Jared McColloch

Hi my name is Melanie and im starting this GoFundMe for my very dear close friend Tammie, we are trying to find her missing son Jared McColloch
JaredMcColloch was 33 years old when he left his home in Marion, Louisiana in November 2023 to go see his son in Benton, Illinois. Jared was supposed to drive to Sandoval, Illinois where he was to meet up with his sons Mother and they would dirve to Benton to see their son together. His sons mom claims he never made it to her house, and she went to see their son alone. Jared was very familiar with the area and would not of gotten lost. Jared has a close relationship with his mom, his brother sadly passed away 2 years ago and he is the only remaining child. This is also another reason why would not make his mom worry and not be in contact with her or anyone else. Jared was seen on multiple surveillance cameras at gas stations and seemed perfectly fine. Ill include a timeline of events as we know them. Jared's truck was found just over the Cannonball Bridge on the Indiana side of the Wabash River on November 6, 2023. His White GMC truck was left running until it ran out of gas then the battery died. Also his 2 loved dogs were also inside with their leashes on and both drivers side doors were open and Jared was no where to be found. Jared loved his dogs and they went everywhere with him he definitely would never leave them like that. Everything about this trip is out of character for Jared and we need to find him and bring him home no matter what or how we do, we just need to do it. We are here asking for any help necessary to bring him home. As you can imagine this has been very difficult for his mom Tammie. One thing she has always made clear was she didnt want to have a gofundme, but ive convinced her to have one only because Tammie lives out of state and she has been traveling back and forth to help in the search for Jared. Expenses are getting out of control for her to continue traveling but as a mother she knows its whats she has to do to bring her son home. We have also just recently started a petetion to have Jared's case switched over to Illinois State Police, or at the very least bring Illinois State Police on board with Knox County Indiana who already has Jared's case. Jared was never seen in Indiana, his phone didnt ping in Indiana, so his last confirmed video sighting as well as all his sightings and phone pings were all in Illinois. Understandably yes his truck was found in Indiana but thats it. We definitely feel like we need both states actively involved in Jared's case to have a better chance of finding him and bringing him home. We are simply asking for any help available to us, as far as professional Search and Rescue teams with Cadaver /Scent K9's and boats with Sonar to get in and check and clear some of the Wabash River last but not least for a Forensic Specialist to get the EDR off of Jared's truck. We are also asking for help to allow Tammie to continue going up there to help find her only remaining son and bring him home. There isnt a price you can put on that so we are unsure on the amount of funds that will be needed. We will be forever thankful and grateful for any help at all that we can get at this point, we are begging you to please help us. We understand if you can not help money wise because we know just how expensive every day life is, but if you can please share this and help us it would mean so much to all of us.. We also have a facebook group which is dedicated to only Jared, his mom Tammie is very very active there. Its called Finding Jared McColloch .
