Support Tammy while she is recovering!

On Thursday December 28th , Tammy was experiencing shortness of breath and went to Maple Grove Hospital. After blood work was taken, it was determined that Tammy’s protein levels were high which told them something was wrong with her heart. The doctors believe she had a small heart attack. Tammy was transported by ambulance to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. After further tests, she was told she has a leaky

valve in her heart and was admitted into the hospital. On Friday, she had a CAT scan and Angiogram. Both the CAT Scan and Angiogram came back normal. However, the issue of a leaky valve in her heart persists. On Thursday, January 4th , Tammy will undergo an Aortic Valve Replacement.

If you know Tammy, then you know she has a kind and gentle soul. She spends her time caring for others in her community and caring for her children and family members. Tammy is a widowed mom of four children. Her family has gone through many challenging times throughout the last few years beginning with the death of her daughter, her husband, her son and most recently, her father.

Tammy will have many weeks of recovery following her surgery. She will not be able to work during this time. Being Tammy is the sole provider for her family, this is going to create emotional and financial stress during a time when she needs to focus on herself for her healing and recovery.

We do not want her to worry about the financial challenges as she is trying to heal. She spends so much time caring and providing for others that it’s time for us to care and provide for her.
