Support Tammy Worden & Family
Dear Friends and Family,
Our close friend, Tammy Worden (Campbell) showed symptoms with shortness of breath and headaches during the first week of July. She tested positive with COVID-19 and then on July 16, 2021 was admitted into the hospital. Tammy has the delta variant with pneumonia. She is in a lot of pain and the doctors are very concerned with her vitals. She is on a high level of oxygen and spends a lot of her time focusing on telling herself to breathe. Her x-rays are not improving and the medical staff has shared that they may remain that way for weeks. Tammy has a long road ahead and we, unfortunately, don’t know what that entails.
Tammy has a wonderful job as the victims advocate with the Daytona Police Department and she has served on many local charities and organizations in the area. The time and generosity she has spent on others, I am sure will be reciprocated.
Many people have asked for ways they can support Tammy and her family, and while we all wish there was more we could do, we do know she has a very long road ahead and so this gofundme was set up as a way for those near and far to help Tammy and her family by easing the financial burdens of medical expenses, lost income, recovery, and future expenses.
We will continue to send well wishes and positive vibes to Tammy, hoping she can soon return home to her husband Mike and their two beautiful children.
