Support Tammy's Second Battle with Cancer

In 2020, Tammy was first diagnosed with cancer. For those of you who know Tammy, they recognize her unrelenting positive attitude and her fighting spirit. These attributes helped her to win her first battle with cancer. Unfortunately, Tammy's cancer has returned. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Cancer. Tammy continues working to provide for her family while fighting her ongoing battle with cancer. Her resilience, determination and unrelenting hope to overcome cancer are inspirational.

Tammy recovered from her first battle with cancer and continued living a full life with her husband, Mark, and two teenage children, Hailey and Nash. She joined our Pharmasave family in November 2021, providing support and guidance to independent pharmacy owners to help meet the needs of the communities they served. Anyone who interacted with her would note her dedication to both her family and her work. She would go out of her way to help make others' lives easier.

Her loving husband Mark had to leave employment due to his own medical issues. He has had three back surgeries and struggles with chronic pain. Tammy has had to become the primary provider for her family. She continues to work hard, not just to support her family, but to help others meet the needs of their local communities. She always puts others before her own needs and now she needs us.

That is why we started this fundraiser. Cancer doesn't discriminate, it targets anyone no matter how wonderful they are. Stress of the unknown and fighting a constant battle can take a toll on anyone's body. The day to day livelihood becomes daunting and it is hard to continue to be the light in the darkness. But we can help. Financial stress is just one of the many things that add to her already full plate. We want to help lift some of this burden by providing a fundraiser that will help with the day to day expenses in addition to the time Tammy has to take off work. This will not cure her cancer, but at least it will ease her mind with one less thing to worry about so she can focus all her attention on restoring her health and spending quality time with her family. We know Tammy has the fighting spirit to beat cancer (she won the battle once) but a fighter never fights alone, there is strength in numbers.
