Support Tanner Tomczak's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
If you are here, THANK YOU for reading, and we appreciate and feel every single prayer for Tanner.
On Saturday, November 23rd, my son Tanner Tomczak was involved in an ATV accident. He was just married to the love of his life last month and starting their life as a married couple when he had a very serious accident.
He suffered a broken pelvis on both right and left sides, a broken tailbone, a broken left collarbone, several hematomas, and road rash from head to toe.
At this time, he has undergone surgery to place a plate in the collarbone, a pin in the tailbone, and was supposed to get pins in his pelvis, but they were unable to place them. They had to screw a rod on the exterior of his body.
He has also needed one blood transfusion so far.
Tanner is unable to walk until he goes back for another surgery to remove the rod, which means he is unable to work (estimated 3-4 months), and his brand new wife would like to be able to take family medical leave to help care for him, which will be unpaid.
His needs are extensive at this time, and we just found out his current limited medical plan will not be covering his needs once he leaves the hospital.
He needs 7 days of inpatient rehab. They will require that payment upfront in the next couple of days.
After discharge from rehab, he'll need home health care or attendant care and a list of medical equipment and minor home modifications. All Cash Pay.
Wheelchair, walker, hospital bed, bedside commode, etc. All Cash Pay.
The financial burden for this young couple just starting out is an extreme hardship, and they desperately need help to ensure all of Tanner's medical and rehab needs are met.
The goal amount was briefly estimated by myself and Tanner's wife- Kaylie but, we think we may need to exceed this goal in order to secure everything they need.
If you feel it in your heart to help every donation will count towards the goal. We appreciate all the love and support!
