Support Taurean’s Recovery and Rehab

UPDATE:

Taurean has had a total of 10 surgeries since the accident with more to come. He just had a big surgery to put a skin flap on and cover his leg bone. He is doing well overall! He continues to heal and is in good spirits but still has a very long road ahead of him. My brother Ricky has been by his side since this happened and has been out of work since. We are asking for continued support and prayers! Every little bit helps Ricky stay with his son!

My nephew Taurean was hit by a car yesterday. The driver struck my 7 year old nephew and proceeded to go through 2 rooms in the house. He is currently in surgery to reattach his foot, restore blood flow, and nerve graft. He will be in the ICU in a medically induced coma to keep his foot as still as possible to let it heal. Once they restore blood flow, he will need another surgery to reattach all tendons and ligaments which were completely severed. He will need internal fixation for the broken bones. My brother Ricky needs to be with his son and we don’t know how long he will be in the hospital. Plus all the rehab and physical therapy to regain movement and learn to walk again. I’m asking for help! If anyone is able to donate to help my brother be with his son it would be greatly appreciated! Anything helps! He is going to need a place to stay for the foreseeable future, food, and whatever else Taurean might need while in the hospital and in rehab. Please continue to pray for Taurean's healing and strength to get through this difficult time. Thank you!
