Stop the US Government from Funding Genocide with Our Taxes

Taxpayers Against Genocide (TAG) is a grassroots movement that started in the fall of 2024 in Northern California and is spreading across the US. TAG is committed to holding our Congresspersons accountable for illegally using our tax dollars to fund the genocide in Gaza.

Your donations will support TAG to cover the attorney and legal costs of the historic class action lawsuit we filed on Dec 19th, 2024, against Congresspersons in Northern California for illegally using their constituents' tax dollars to fund the genocide in Gaza. The lawsuit soon expanded and was amended to include a class of nearly 2000 members and 47 class reps, encompassing all 18 counties that make up the US Federal Court District of Northern California.

TAG was fortunate to be represented by Szeto-Wong Law for this class action lawsuit, a civil rights law firm based in Oakland. Though Szeto-Wong provided attorney services far below market rate, TAG is raising funds to cover those fees that came to approximately $10,000.

Although Judge Vince Chhabria dismissed our lawsuit on the false grounds that the Court allegedly lacked “jurisdiction” to stop tax dollars from being used for genocide, TAG will not stop with this dismissal.

TAG is now working with a team of renowned National Lawyers Guild attorneys to file a report with the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) and a complaint with the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights this spring.

Your donations will also help us cover the new NLG attorney fees, other legal costs, and public education efforts involved in in this international campaign.

The Association for Investment in Popular Action Committees, a registered 501c3 non-profit, is receiving donations on behalf of TAG through a bank account it established for exclusively this purpose. Every penny you give will be used to cover the costs of TAG's massive efforts to hold US Congresspersons accountable for complicity in genocide.
