My name is Tea Sierra (they/them) and I am a black non-binary community organizer and scholar based in Atlanta GA. Given the demands of this moment of unrest sparked by police violence and COVID-19, I have decided to resign from my full-time fellowship position earlier than anticipated to devote the rest of my summer to on the ground abolitionist community organizing werq in Atlanta. I will be leaving the city in September to begin my Ph.D program in Geography at the University of Minnesota, and need support covering bills (especially rent), food and other expenses for the duration of my time here.
