Support Teacher Elizabeth

We are a group of parents from Bright Horizon at Gilead. Our kids have been very lucky to have teacher Elizabeth as their Sunfish classroom's lead teacher during their transition from 2-3 years old. Teacher Elizabeth is very passionate about early childhood education and learning. She has taught our kids developing practical early life skills and has prepared them for pre-school with patience, hard work, and dedication.

Unfortunately, teacher Elizabeth's husband was diagnosed with a stage IV liver cancer earlier in May 2020, and she is going through a very difficult time in her life since then. In addition to the fear & concerns watching her beloved one suffering the pain and weakness caused by the disease, financially they are also in a tough situation. Her husband lost his job/income due to the illness and her own salary is hard to pay for all the expenses considering the large out of pocket charges of health care and prescriptions, and their rent.

Despite her extreme difficult situation, teacher Elizabeth has managed to stay positive and professional. She appreciates every little kindness she receives. She is a wonderful teacher with an inspiring soul. Her positive influence on our kids' lives is undeniable and we are so grateful for her unparalleled commitment.
