Help Team Dave Crome Beat Brain Cancer

The Unimaginable Happened

 

Hello, we are part of #TeamDaveCrome - raising funds for our friend and colleague Grapevine, Texas resident Dave Crome who was recently diagnosed with Stage IV glioblastoma, a very aggressive and fast-growing brain tumor. Since then, Dave has undergone surgery and will begin chemo and radiation therapy in Dallas and rehabilitation to regain critical skills that have been lost. As you can imagine, this has not only turned Dave's world upside down but also those closest to him - including his wife Janet and four children; Nick, Christy, Connor and Lexie. Our goal at #TeamDaveCrome is to help Dave by easing the financial burden this family faces in the months and perhaps years to come.

 

Overcoming The Hurdles Ahead

 

Dave's financial future is uncertain besides facing a long physical battle ahead. It's unclear when or if he'll be able to return to his long-time job at KiDs Beach Club. The Crome's have medical insurance, but gaps in coverage won't cover all the costs of lost income,

medical bills and insurance premiums.  We hope this fundraising effort provides a sense of relief so Dave can focus all his energy on getting well and beating cancer. Here's what the funds will cover.

Dave has impacted many lives through his jobs at CW33 News as a Sports Anchor and Reporter, Texas Motor Speedway Marketing Coordinator, and now Vice President of Marketing and Communications at KiDs Beach Club. Dave is widely known, admired and respected as a gifted professional who is also kind, hard-working and so funny.  Dave always gives his best to every project; his shelves are full of national awards and accolades. But, for those who know Dave, what stands out most is his love for his family and his faith. Dave is the real deal in every way, who always takes the time to give back and help others. We are all praying for his full recovery; please consider donating and continue those vital prayers.
