Support Team Pod!

Hi, my name is Jill Peel I work with Mike (Pod) at Bullhorn. When I found out that Pod is battling cancer, several of us wanted to figure out a way to help Mike and his family.

In 2023, Mike (Pod) was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, stage 4 renal cell carcinoma, otherwise known as kidney cancer. His left kidney was removed back in April 2023, but it has since spread to his lymph nodes and vertebrae. In Dec 2023, he lost movement in his legs due to the cancer spreading to his spine and is in a rehab facility learning how to use a wheelchair.

Needless to say, this has been a really tough time for Pod, his wife Emily, and their almost 3-year-old son Max. Immunotherapy appointments, side effects, learning to use a wheelchair and the emotional stress of battling cancer are all a lot for one family to carry alone.

Pod's friends, family, and co-workers are coming alongside the Podgorski Family and hoping to ease the burden of their practical daily needs so they can focus on Mike's health. The money raised from this GoFundMe will go towards helping the Podgorski's with things like:
