Team Truax, Leukemia Cure by Gamma Phi
The Epsilon Epsilon chapter of Gamma Phi Beta is currently fundraising for Kate Truax. Kate is a 2004 Union College graduate and sister of Union's Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta. In 2012, Kate died of leukemia at the age of 30. As a middle school teacher in Maryland, Kate was loved by her students. Today, one of her students is rallying for a research grant from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to find the cure for leukemia and other blood cancers. To secure the grant, the student must raise $50,000. Team Truax reached out to Union College and the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi for help in raising funds for this cause. As members of the Union College family, join in the battle against leukemia by donating to Team Truax. Kate touched the lives of others with her kindness. Today, we touch the lives of others in honor of Kate. Every donation makes a difference.
