Support Teddy Marchione's Brave Battle

Teddy Marchione was diagnosed with a pediatric brain tumor in the Summer of 2018 when he was just 2 years old. In July 2018, he underwent a 10-hour surgery to try and remove the tumor that most likely started growing in utero according to his neurosurgeon. Since then he has received countless rounds of chemotherapy. Teddy is currently on his 4th chemo treatment protocol which is a clinical trial at Dana Farber that he’s been traveling to Boston monthly for since 2022. As a result of these treatments, Teddy has reduced vision and several endocrine issues due to the tumor's proximity to his optic nerve and pituitary. All of which require very careful medical care and monitoring to keep his body functioning.

On Friday, May 10th, 2024, Teddy underwent another brain surgery, this time in Ohio, to remove scar tissue from his first surgery 6 years ago that has been recently causing severe seizures. Teddy and his family have been fighting this cancer for almost 6 years. His mom and dad have never left his side throughout this whole ordeal and are his biggest advocates. Molly had to leave her job as a registered nurse at Norwalk Hospital some years ago to care for Teddy full-time. Ryan has to balance a full time job and helping Molly with taking care of his family.

The Marchione family live right here in Fairfield, CT. They have deep ties to our community. They are members of St Pius X Church. They have 3 sweet boys (Charlie-10, Teddy-8 and Jackie-2) that we just all adore. Charlie attends North Stratfield Elementary School, is an amazing athlete and is a friend to everyone. He has played baseball for the Fairfield National Little League and played flag football for Fairfield Youth Football. Teddy attends Jennings Elementary School and works hard each and every day to keep up with brothers and his friends despite his medical issues and disabilities. He has been a part of the local Fairfield baseball team for players with special needs. Jackie, the littlest Marchione, can be seen on the baseball field and even in the dugout cheering his brothers on and off the field.

Charlie and Jackie are eagerly awaiting Teddy's return home. The Marchione family has been living every parent's worst nightmare and they need your help.
