Support Tenesha in Her International Studies

Hello all! I am Tenesha Carter Johnson, a current junior Art History major, Curatorial Studies & French double minor, at the Illustrious Spelman College. I am immensely grateful to be accepted into the Summer 2023 IES Study Abroad Multilocation Summer - Museums, Art, & Culture program in which I'll be traveling to Rome, Italy & Paris, France for intensive studies of art history, architecture, and cultural studies. As a third-year scholar in the art history program at Spelman, I've had the honor of serving in the capacities of an intern for Storm King Art Center in Hudson Valley, New York and Prospect New Orleans in New Orleans, Lousiana. As an aspiring curator, I intend to advance and amplify the narrative of the African Diaspora as expressed through arts and creative manifestations. Please support me as a student of the classroom and of the world as I continue my studies globally in Rome & Paris.
