Support Minnesotan girl Tenzin Choedon's Recovery Journey

We are heartbroken to share the story of Tenzin Choedon, a sweet and vibrant 12-year-old girl from Prior Lake, Minnesota. On August 15, 2024, Tenzin’s life was forever changed when she was involved in a devastating car accident on the Ohio Turnpike near Toledo. The family was on the road driving to New York to attend the Tenshug offering for His Holiness the Dalai Lama. In this tragic incident, she lost her beloved father, Tenzin Drukgyal, 46, a US Postal Service employee and her little brother, Dawa Norbu, just 9 years old.

Tenzin is currently in critical condition, in the hospital. Her mother, who survived the accident, is by her side, shattered by the loss of family members and now facing the unimaginable pain of watching her daughter endure this struggle.

Tenzin is a bright and loving child, full of dreams and potential. Now, as she battles severe injuries, she needs all the support we can offer. The road ahead for her and her mother is long and filled with uncertainty, both physically and emotionally.

We are raising funds to help cover Tenzin’s mounting medical expenses and the extensive care she will need to recover. These funds will also assist her grieving mother, who is facing overwhelming heartache and financial challenges as she tries to be strong for her daughter.
