Support Teriann's Battle Against Kidney Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to share some unexpected news about my amazing mother, Teriann. On July 16, 2024, she received a shocking diagnosis of kidney cancer after experiencing abdominal pain and a sudden loss of energy. It's been a whirlwind since then, and she is scheduled to undergo surgery to remove her kidney on August 9th.

Teriann has always been the heart and soul of our family—a vibrant, loving person who has touched so many lives. This news has been incredibly difficult for all of us, especially given how swiftly everything has unfolded.

The financial burden associated with out-of-pocket medical bills, medications, potential travel for treatment, and hotel stays while she's in acute care is overwhelming. We're doing everything we can to support her during this time, but we need your help too. The day of surgery, until she is out, we would like to be close to her, and even with discounts hotels are expensive. Her stay after surgery could be anywhere from 3-7 days depending on her. Knowing her tenacity, she will be sprinting out of that hospital as fast as possible.

To alleviate some of this stress, we've set up a fundraising campaign to cover these unexpected expenses.
