Support Terry Banks' Family in Their Time of Loss

Hi, my name is Brittany, Terry's daughter.

On October 31st, early early morning, my Dad, Terry Banks, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, passed away.

The weekend prior he went into cardiac arrest, after an unknown period of time a heartbeat was able to be brought back, but he was unresponsive. Arriving at the hospital, his heart stopped numerous times, but they were finally able to stabilize him. Shortly after, he was airlifted to the Toledo hospital. Still unresponsive, he was put on life support unable to breathe fully on his own. He suffered brain and kidney damage due to the unknown amount of time he was in cardiac arrest. Days later my Dad peacefully passed away.

Several years ago my Dad had to have a leg amputated due to complications from diabetes. In between losing his 2nd leg from an infection, he underwent triple bypass surgery. The past 3 years he was also undergoing multiple days of dialysis due to stage 5 renal failure.

If one thing was for certain, it's that Terry was a fighter, strong, and never gave up. The life of the party, always telling stories and jokes, and never took things too seriously. If you were feeling down, he would never fail to put a smile on your face.

My Dad will be tremendously missed. He may be gone now, but he will for eternity be in our hearts, memories and in the stories we'll share.

Terry loved his family whole heartedly, and we loved every bit of him. We are trying to navigate through his loss while trying to figure out end of life costs and further expenses to come. We are humbly asking for any donations as it would be a huge blessing and help to the family, especially my Mom, as we all go through this very hard time.
