Support Terufat (Sehen Dareye) Beat Cancer

This fundraiser has been established for our sister Terufat Geleta (Sehen Dareye). We wanted to share what they are going through and ask for your help.

Unfortunately Sehen was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in her lungs 2 yrs ago and has been undergoing radiation and other intensive treatments, which will require immediate financial support. 


Sehen and Julio are a beautiful example of holiness, Been Married 43 years trusting in God, and love. They have 4 amazing children and three grandchildren’s.  Right now there’s a lot of uncertainty, but if you know Sehen and Julio at all, one thing is certain. They will glorify and magnify God in this new Journey. 


Sehen is an amazing wife and mom and Grandma who puts her faith in Christ first and foremost in everything she does. Personally, we can’t imagine the range of emotions and thoughts they are facing.


We want to ask people to pray in earnest for them. We know God will be glorified in this family as he already is.  We all feel so helpless. We know many of you do too and want a way to help. Alleviating the added financial stresses that are inevitable in situations like these is one thing we can help with. We understand that these can be difficult times for many of us. With the current pandemic, which is complicating things beyond what we could imagine, for all of us.

Thank you we appreciate whatever help you can give. It’s always humbling to ask for help, but as we said above, we know that God will be glorified in this.
