Support the 2024 PLP Picnic: A Day of Fun Community Unity!

The PLP Picnic will bring a diverse group of Tribes/Communities together to experience a day of fun in the sun amongst positive human beings. The event will be co-sponsored by PLP Service and Better Angels LA, in partnership with the Mar Vista Recreation Center. It will include drummers, dancers, yoga, arts & crafts, DJ’s, music performances, food, and resources for the unhoused.

To welcome members of the unhoused community, we plan to arrange an access day where organizations and service providers can share their various services directly with the unhoused residents of Los Angeles County, and provide transportation to the event. It will also be an opportunity to discover volunteer opportunities with those organizations.

The funds will be used to cover the cost of food, production equipment, transportation, and entertainment. Large and small donations are welcomed and appreciated.
