Support the Asian American Christian Collaborative
You can continue to support AACC at http://give.aachristcollab.com/
The Asian American Christian Collaborative (AACC) aims to encourage, equip, and empower Asian American Christians and friends of our community. We seek to address issues pertaining to Asian American Christians and Christianity, while remaining grounded in the historic Christian faith, rooted in Scripture, and in communion with the global Church. Our multimedia platform will offer resources that contribute to the development and understanding of Asian American theology, preaching, identity, mental health, current events, history, arts, and beyond.
The AACC began when Asian American Christians and community leaders joined together to denounce the current rise in anti-Asian racism throughout our country. With your help, we've reached over 10,000 signatures on this statement!
In just a few months, our team of 12 statement drafters grew to a volunteer staff of over 25. We've put together resources and events including:
- Reclaim magazine, our flagship publication featuring Asian American Christian thought and culture
- The March for Black Lives and Dignity, in partnership with over 100 churches and organizations with an attendance of over 1,000
- A devotional guide for and by Asian American college students, highlighting issues of racial identity, justice, and peace through the Psalms
- Interconnected, a video series addressing relationships between African American and Asian American Christians
- Kairos, a video series focusing on how Asian American churches can better engage in matters of race and justice
- A cover of "The Blessing" with musicians from over 30 churches representing over 21 different Asian languages
With your financial support, we'll be able to continue developing resources and initiatives to encourage, equip, and empower the Church. Your contribution will go to…
- Subscriptions and equipment to launch a podcast
- General service subscriptions
- Continuing partnerships with other churches and organizations
- Maintaining a high quality production
- Honorariums for guests and content contributors
- Hosting events
- Staff compensation (editorial director and staff)
- Compensation for college student volunteers, as we seek to cultivate the next generation of Asian American Christian leaders and support them through their education
As we near the last steps of the 501c3 incorporation process, we need your help to reach the end of the year. Please consider joining us in these important efforts to encourage, equip, and empower Asian American Christians for the growth of His Kingdom.
