Support the Abdallah family: Shooting in Montreal

Nous collectons des fonds au nom de la famille Abdallah suite à la fusillade qui s'est produite à Dollard-des-Ormeaux le 4 août 2024.

Houssam Abdallah et ses enfants ont été pris entre les feux croisés de la police et d'un suspect armé. Alors qu'il protégeait ses enfants, il a été abattu de cinq balles. Son fils Abdel-Rahman, âgé de 18 ans, a également été abattu par une balle dans le dos. Les deux ont été gravement blessés et sont restés au sol pendant près d'une heure avant d'être secourus.

Houssam s'occupe principalement de sa famille de quatre enfants qui luttent contre la peur et l'incertitude qui accompagnent cette dévastation. Parmi eux, son fils de 9 ans en détresse fait face au traumatisme d'avoir vu l'événement se dérouler devant ses yeux.

Leur famille a mis leur vie entre parenthèses alors qu'elle subit cette tragédie bouleversante. Votre soutien permettra de couvrir leurs dépenses essentielles pendant cette période difficile, y compris les factures médicales, les frais de réadaptation, les dépenses quotidiennes et toute autre charge financière.

We are fundraising on behalf of the Abdallah family following the shooting that occurred in Dollard-des-Ormeaux on August 4, 2024.

Houssam Abdallah and his kids were caught in the crossfire between the police and an armed suspect. As he shielded his children to protect them, he was shot five times. His 18-year-old son Abdel-Rahman was also struck by a bullet in the back. Both were seriously injured and remained on the ground for almost an hour before being rescued.

Houssam is the primary caregiver for their family of 4 children who are struggling to cope with the fear and uncertainty that has come with this devastation. Among them is a distressed 9-year-old who must cope with the trauma of having seen the event unfold in front of him.

Their family has put their life on hold as they endure this life-altering tragedy. Your support will help cover their essential expenses during this difficult period including medical bills, rehabilitation costs, daily living expenses and any other financial burdens.
