With heavy hearts, Cadence Penelope Ackles, a bright and joyful spirit, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2024. Born to Joshua and Ashley Ackles, Cadence lived her six years with unrestrained joy and energy. She was more than a kindergartner at West Elementary School in Jerseyville; she was a cherished daughter, sister, friend, and “The Cul-de-Sac Queen,” known for her endless adventures and boundless heart. From her fascination with dinosaurs, Spider-Man, and Bluey, to her favorite film, Ron’s Gone Wrong, Cadence lived every day with pure happiness and curiosity. She ruled her little world of outdoor escapades, golf cart rides, and neighborhood fun, turning every moment into a cherished memory. Even on rainy days, Cadence chose to be outside, immersing herself in life’s simple joys and bringing laughter to everyone around her. Cadence loved the water, spending hot summer days at Westlake pool and proudly being a Daisy in Girl Scout Troop #77. Her playful heart and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She touched so many lives, from her big sister Ruby to friends, family, and neighbors who were forever uplifted by her joyful presence.
