Support the Adams Family in Their Time of Need

I'm Terri Lay and I'm assisting another community member as we have become aware of a family among us who is in desperate need of financial assistance and prayers from our community.

I'm here to offer the Strafford community the opportunity to help JD and Lacey Adams and their 3 boys.

The Adam's have found themselves overcome and stressed out by medical issues and financial burdens. The ever increasing cost for basis needs, everyday bills and feeding a family of five is tough. Then add in medical bills, travel for doctors appointments, and surgery which requires time off work and a hard situation becomes impossible to handle .

The oldest of the Adams boys, has returned home from college due to ongoing serious, but yet to be diagnosed health problems. But, his doctors are in Marshall, MO and the extra gas plus the doctor bills have hit the family hard.

Then last week, mom, Lacey, who has ongoing kidney issues, had to have surgery to place stents in her kidney. The surgery will have her off work until October. This lack of being able to provide their second income has the family in a very hard financial situation. Plainly put, they can't afford to pay their bills. Nor can they put food on the table, cover school lunch expenses or fill the tank to make another trip to doctors appointments this week.

Pride has kept the family from being honest about their financial situation. But they are in a position now where they must ask for help.

Strafford is a loving and caring community who always responds when they are made aware of a need.

So this account has been set up to help the Adams Family get back on their feet and to keep food on their table.

We all know times are tough for most of us, but we are praying there are those in the community who can and will help this family.
