On November 15th, our friends Suzy and Vaughn experienced an unimaginable tragedy – the loss of their beloved daughter, Kassidy, in a heartbreaking car accident. Kassidy leaves behind her precious five year old son, Lucian, who was the love of her life.

In this difficult time, we are coming together to support Suzy, Vaughn, and most importantly, Lucian. Obituary

Kassidy Lee Aikens was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Born to Suzanne and Vaughn Aikens on September 14, 1988, Kassidy was the oldest of two children. She loved dance and art and had a passion for music that she shared with her dad from a young age. Kassidy was a member of GEMS throughout elementary and middle school and has been an attending member at Peace Lutheran Church for several years. She graduated from Zeeland High School in 2007 where she was a cheerleader all four years. In 2018, she had her son, Lucian, who was the love of her life. Kassidy had a contagious smile and a generous and loving heart and she will be deeply missed.

Kassidy is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Gordon Bradford Jr., uncle, Steve Bradford, and cousin Brody Petre. She is survived by her precious son, Lucian Preston, loving parents, Vaughn and Suzanne Aikens, sister, Alyson Aikens, grandparents, Fred and Wanda Aikens and Marie Rich, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
