Support the Alcantara Family's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
We, the Alcantara family, are here asking for your help and support to help us reach our goal. We are trying to raise money to pay off the funeral expenses for Jose Alcantara.
Jose had fell on his stomach and hit his chest two months ago when he was walking. After the fall, he had started complaining about his chest hurting. To make sure nothing had happened, we took him to the ER and they had made several tests, including CT scan. Incidentally, they had found an abdominal aneurysm, which the doctor said it had expanded to the point that it needed surgery to repair it. So, Jose decided to do the surgery because the doctor had told him that it was only 10 to 15 percent risk of having kidney failure after the surgery. On Friday, November 22 2024, was the day he had the surgery, the surgery lasted about 3 and a half hours. The surgeon came and told us that the surgery was successful. The only issue Jose was having was that his blood pressure wouldn't stop dropping and that they were trying to get it back to its regular level. The next day, the doctor said that he was having internal bleeding and didn't know where it was coming from. After that, they said that he was having the kidney failure that doctor had mentioned before the surgery, so they had to start with the dialysis. Sunday, they said that the rest of his organs were failing. Last night, the doctor told us that he most likely wouldn't last one more day. This morning at around 1:50 am, 11-26-24, his heart stopped and sadly passed away.
At the hospital, they said they can only keep him there for two days. So were trying to make the arrangement with the funeral home to take him this Wednesday or Thursday. We hope that you can help us out and support us. Please share our story with your friends and family so we can get as much help as possible.
Thank you and God Bless you and your family.
