Support the Alexandria RPG Library's Mission

Dear Fellow Gamers, Supporters, and Friends,

If you’ve met us at an event, you know the passion we have for getting roleplaying games into the hands of others and for preserving the history of these incredible games. Our nonprofit RPG Library is more than just a collection of books—it’s a labor of love. It’s a resource for Gamers, a chance for people to experience new games, and a way of sharing the joy of storytelling and imagination.

Our Journey So Far

We started in 2017 with just 348 books packed into the Chief Librarian’s car, ready to fill a small space at Emerald City Comic Con. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown to over 8,000 books, safely stored in climate-controlled storage. Since then, we’ve been honored to bring our library to events across North America, curating a collection for each show we attend.

But here’s the catch: To get our library to those events, we pack everything into our SUV, box after box, only to unload it at the venue, and then repeat the process in reverse at the end of the event. The wear and tear on our SUV is hard enough, but it’s even harder on the books—constantly being moved, packed, and unpacked. It’s become unsustainable, and we need your help.

The Need: A Trailer and Rolling Bookshelves

We’re asking for your support to raise funds for two critical pieces of equipment:

A trailer to safely transport our collection from event to event

Rolling bookshelves to make setup and breakdown much easier on our volunteers, and to keep the books safe from damage.

These tools will make a world of difference, allowing us to reduce the risk of damage, speed up our setup and teardown process, and ensure that our books continue to be shared and enjoyed by the community for years to come.
