Support the Anacassis Family after a House Fire

At six am last Saturday, a fire broke out in the home of Marguerite Anacassis and her sister Jeanette on Cedrus Avenue. Marguerite, her sister Jeanette, Marguerite's caretaker, Marguerite's young nephew and another female resident came away with their lives. The three women carried Marguerite, who has Alzheimer's, out of the burning house before the fire department arrived.

I happened to pass by walking my dog that morning, and witnessing the women save Marguerite moved me deeply.

While I didn't know the family before, a neighbor and Mary O'Sullivan from the Age Strong Commission Boston helped me contact the family. I was able to talk to Jeanette on the phone. She appreciates any support for her sister and family.

Can we as their neighbors support them during this difficult time?
