I write with great humility, and hope for your help. Appalachian Catholic Worker is still trying to make up for income lost during COVID and it is overwhelming with so many projects on hold indefinitely as we wait to see if more student groups will return. But there is always a silver lining...

In July, 2023, we initiated a partnership with West Virginia Black Pride Foundation (WVBPF) to care for and make use of our SAKO property across town. Founder, Kasha Mcdonald, her Board and friends, are already hard at work transforming that special place. We're grateful to have less on our plate, and still be part of their exciting vision for a Wellness and Retreat Center for LGBTQIA+ people of color.

Your support will help us complete projects, accompany WVBPF in such an important and worthwhile mission, and continue to serve our community in Roane County as we have for over 2 decades. Thank you for any amount you're able to give.
