Support Gallery 218 , local art in Milwaukee

This popular all volunteer run contemporary art gallery has served the community for 30 years. It promotes local artists from the Milwaukee/ Wisconsin area while providing mentoring  and exhibiting opportunities to artists in a fine  cooperative gallery setting. It supports visual artists in all media, musicians, and film. We have participated in many community events including creating our own art fair, collecting food for the Hunger Task Force, giving to charity auctions. We rely on the artists memberships, gallery sales and donations in order to pay the rent. Due to the current Covid 19 virus the gallery has been closed making it very difficult to meet expenses. Located in the historic third ward, our most popular event, Gallery Night was cancelled in April and July. Please support our artists and space. We are open on Saturdays noon-5pm. Our 30th anniversary reception will be October 16, 2020 5pm-8:30pm and we hope to see the public in our space again at that time. Masks are required and social distancing in practice.
