Support the Atkinson's while they fight cancer

Hello everyone, this page is setup to help support the Atkinson family as they battle the cancer in their 7 year old daughter Lucy. The doctors diagnosed Lucy with both Burkitt Lymphoma and Lukemia. It is an incredibly fast acting disease. Lucy was started on chemotherapy right away. It is a very intense regiment in order to fight the two cancers at once so she is going through a lot. Lucy is receiving occasional platelet and blood transfusions to keep her numbers ok. Her has been struggling a lot emotionally to handle everything, and the steroids and other medicines have been causing some severe mood swings. There will be a lot of side effects from this chemo, including hair loss. Please be praying for strength for Lucy through this extreme trial.
