Support the Baggetts during cancer treatment

Donation protected
Those who love the Baggett crew are rallying together to support them during this challenging time that no one is ever prepared to face. If you know Barbie, Farley and Everett, then you know how deep their love is for their family and friends. Let's return that love to them while Farley recovers from surgery and heads into the next six months of treatment, which will result in lost wages and unexpected expenses that come with a cancer diagnosis. Thank you for helping shower the Baggetts with love and support!

A message from Barbie:

On October 26th, Farley underwent surgery for the removal of a 9.6 lb. liposarcoma (soft tissue cancer) on his abdomen. We hoped and prayed and begged that the surgery would be the end, but unfortunately due to the results of his biopsy, he will be going through 6 aggressive rounds of Chemo to keep the cancer from coming back more aggressively.

I miss long car rides with Farley. I miss not having to stifle our belly laughs because they hurt too bad. I miss not having to ever take the garbage out…that one’s selfish, I know. I miss so many things, but I know I won’t have to miss them for long. We have faith that in 6 months, this will all be behind us, and we will have gotten through one more hard thing together. The hardest ever thing.

It’s a weird time in life, for lack of better words - wanting things to slow down while Everett grows and needing time to fly through on to Summer.

I have sat down so many times to write thank you notes to so many of you for your cards and gifts and meals and messages -- but as you can imagine, and as anyone who has been through this knows, every little task feels so big and important and so very exhausting at the same time.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for your concern, prayers, empathy, all of it. The selfless love shown has been the only silver lining of it all. We’re learning so much so early in life. The fixer in me having to surrender to the help and open arms of our family and friends, she is learning the most. Farley has been strong and sweet through it all, and as always, I am so proud to be trusted with his heart. We love you all. Don’t worry -- we can do anything.
