The Barnes family was involved in a horrific car crash this past weekend and their lives altered forever. Our sweet friends are going through any parent's worst nightmare, losing their beautiful baby girl. With only 5 short years on Earth, Kate Barnes touched so many lives. To know Kate was to love her. Michael and Emily Barnes are amazing parents who have raised Lyla, Elise, and Kate, who are amazingly smart, kind, and beautiful girls with the best personalities. "Kitty Kate" was the life of any party, loved talking about Jesus, and was so excited to start kindergarten this year (she even learned the word "excited"!). Kate was a bright shining light who completed the Barnes family in so many ways. Her precious smile, infectious laughter, and quick wit will forever be missed. The Barnes family is absolutely devastated by Kate's passing. She was much too young to leave this world, but they take solace knowing that she is at home with Jesus and in His arms. Kate Marie Barnes will always be remembered and loved, and you can help support her and the family in this extremely difficult time.
