Support the Battle of the Little Bighorn Traveling Cemetery

Donation protected
My name is Jenny Niemeyer. I’ve created the Battle of the Little Bighorn Traveling Cemetery by painting 5x7 inch acrylic portraits of every person killed at this epic battle. It is the most studied and argued over battle in American history. I decided two years ago that those faces needed to come alive - the faces of those who died on the hot and dusty bluffs above the Little Bighorn River in southeast Montana on June 25-26, 1876. In a way I feel like it was their idea, not mine. I just hold the paintbrush.

Pretty soon it will be time to get the traveling cemetery on the road. That's where you can help!

I’m raising money to purchase an enclosed trailer so I can safely transport the panels that hold the paintings and get them to shows. Get your name on the trailer for a donation of $100 or more! Your donation to this art+history project may also be used for signage, a tank of gas, or to overnight on the way to shows. Help tell the story of the Battle of the Little Bighorn - because the dead stay with us as long as we speak their names.
