Hi, I am one of Mukesh Bhavsar's Friend. For those that may not know, his family was battling with COVID in September. Four months after fighting covid his lungs had started to deteriorate. He was unable to walk or do any activity since his lungs would not be able to provide oxygen. Early December Mukesh was seen by a pulmonologist and was diagnosed with Fibrosis due to COVID. Later that week he was taken to Tampa General Hospital as his oxygen level was dropping below 60% despite being on external oxygen. He was kept in ICU at TGH for a month. He was also on a ventilator for two weeks and ECMO for a week. Only chance of survival Mukesh had was through a lung transplant. Unfortunately, he was never able to become a candidate for lung transplant due to several other conditions he had. Mukesh passed away over a week ago and our heart was torn in two. Remembering him is easy, we do it everyday but missing Mukesh is a heartache that will never go away. Thank you for all the unconditional love and support.
