Support the Boltz family in their cancer diagnoses

UPDATE
July 26, 2024
The last couple months have been a tough road for both Erin and Matt but they are continuing to fight. Matt is feeling better after having to spend some time in the hospital for treatment complications and Erin is pushing through her weekly chemo sessions. The treatment side effects have been a lot to manage for them both.
They are beyond thankful for the support of their family and friends. Maverick just turned 6 months old and their strength in persevering through all this comes from their three children.
It will be quite some time before Erin is able to return to work full time and Matt has had to step away from his work.
If inclined, please continue to share this fundraiser with your networks. Our goal with fundraising is to help ease the financial burden for them…supporting their family while out of work, medical bills, and the stress of it all while going through treatment.
We are so very thankful for your donations.

Thank you again for your donations, Erin and Matt are overwhelmed by all the support!
On May 29, Erin will have surgery for her breast cancer and the biopsy results will determine if chemo or radiation is needed. She will be out of work for some time recovering. Matt is on the right path now with treatment for his Hodgkins Lymphoma and his recent report shows that the chemo is working effectively!
Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers, your generosity is incredible!
Update
To all of our friends, family, and neighbors…your generosity is absolutely incredible.
From Erin & Matt to all of you..
Thank you a million times over!
Matt just found out after a bone marrow biopsy that the cancer is not in his bones! It’s our first good news in a long time. He is expected to complete 12 total treatments of chemo. He has completed 2 so far. It is tough, but he is being so strong! He will get a PET after 4 treatments to check progress, and again after 8. They will reevaluate the treatment plan after each scan. We are hoping he can stop the chemo earlier than expected!
I have learned my diagnosis, HER2 positive DCIS. I have met with the surgeon and am going to be getting a double mastectomy. I had an MRI and I am waiting for appointments with the oncologist, plastic surgeon, and the breast surgeon. It is unknown if I will need chemo at this time.
Hello,
As friends and family of Erin and Matt Boltz, we are asking for donations to help them persevere through their cancer diagnoses. We feel blessed to know this amazing family and we know there are many folks out there that will want to help.
Their story—
In January of this year, Erin and Matt, along with their older children, Mikey and Morgan, welcomed their new baby boy, Maverick, to their family. Soon after bringing Mav home, Matt learned of his diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma and has recently begun treatment. Erin has also just learned of her breast cancer diagnosis and is in the early stages of learning about her treatment plan and next steps. As you can imagine, one parent with cancer is beyond difficult, but both having cancer, is beyond the unthinkable.
Erin and Matt each have a cancer journey ahead of them and we are hoping to lessen their stress and worry so that each can focus on their recoveries and caring for their three children. With Erin as a hairstylist, she will have to step away from her work as she goes through her treatment. They are an incredibly thoughtful and caring family which is why we have insisted on helping them. Please consider donating to this wonderful family.
Thank you!
