Hi there, my name is Tracey, a dear friend of the Braun and Lewis family.

As a friend, as I am sure many of you have felt.. how do we help Monica and Graham? Monica and Graham have served the community of Cambridge for many years. They opened Monigram Coffee Roasters, a place that nurtures connection and community and has served thousands of people. Just navigating through COVID as a small business owner, in October 2021, they had an even more giant mountain to climb, Graham was diagnosed with ALS also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Both Graham and Monica are vivacious strong energetic people, actual fighters... never have I seen Graham complain as his disease has progressed. We have all sat on the sidelines and watched Graham balance being a father, husband, and business owner, and then Monica, wife, mother and business owner... this Gofundme is maybe the best way that we as friends and community can show our desire to show them that we are here to help and support them.

In speaking with Monica and Graham regularly about what is next, and the financial stress it will have, next in line is ordering a wheelchair so he can remain independent in their home, this is not just any wheelchair, Graham has already had 4 wheelchairs as things progress and as his needs change, the next wheelchair is around $45,000. This is just the beginning; Monica still needs to have a strong presence in the cafe, Monica and Graham have dedicated their careers to Monigram coffee and that is not going to stop because of Graham's diagnosis. There is an increased need for home care as well as further construction at the house and cafe this is just too much for a family to manage. Can you help?
