On Friday, March 21st, 2025 our family suffered an unimaginable loss. We unexpectedly lost John, a devoted husband, a loving father, and the most incredible papa. His passing has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

Johnny ( Riff Raff) was more than just a papa to his grandson, Roman—he was his best friend, his biggest supporter, and his rock. Roman is struggling deeply with this loss, as we all are, and we are doing our best to support him through this heartbreak.

Above all, Johnny loved his family fiercely. He was the love of my mom’s life, her best friend and partner in everything. He was the best dad to Sarah and Jason, always there with open arms, unconditional love, and words of wisdom. And when it came to his grandkids, his love knew NO BOUNDS! They were his pride and joy, and he made sure they always felt safe and cherished.

Johnny had a deep love and respect for the sisters at the monastery, where he spent many years building lifelong friendships. He found great joy in their company, sharing laughter, wisdom, and faith. The bonds he formed there were like family to him, and he cherished every moment spent in their presence. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched so many lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.

Johnny was my mom’s missing puzzle piece, her soulmate, her best friend, and the love of her life. From the moment they met, they fit together perfectly, filling each other’s lives with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. They were meant to be, two hearts connected in a way that nothing could break. Though his physical presence is gone, their bond remains unshaken—together by pieces forever.

This loss was completely unexpected, and we are now facing overwhelming funeral expenses along with the emotional weight of losing him. We are asking for support to help with these costs and to provide some relief for our family during this incredibly difficult time.
