Support the Cavazos Bautista Family in this time of mourning

If you know anything about Mainspring Schools, we are a family. Our teachers and staff and our students and parents love each other and create bonds that last a lifetime.

We are practically honored when a Mainspring family also works at Mainspring; that is the exact story for the Cavazos/ Bautista family. Sunny is the Co-Lead teacher for the Grasshopper Classroom where her granddaughter, Autumn, is a student. Alexis, Sunny's daughter and Autumn's mom, works here as the Kitchen Assistant. They also live right here in our Mainspring community.

In the early morning of Friday, August 23, 2024, Sunny got the heartbreaking and life-changing news that her twelve-year-old nephew was murdered. Police arrived on the scene and performed life-saving measures but sadly the young man passed on.

We created this fundraiser to help our family, Sunny, Alexis, and Autumn (and their entire family) during this challenging time.

That is what we do. We rally. We love. We support.
