The 2025 Guatemala Delegation is an opportunity for us to connect with each other, address our questions of identity and connect with our counterparts in our homeland!

We are fundraising to support Chiltepes Chilerxs who may not be able to afford the full cost of the delegation. You support will help fund the costs associated with paying local guides in Guatemala, homestay families that will host us, local restaurants that will feed us, and small organizations that will receive honorariums for hosting us in their localities.

Who is overseeing the Chiltepes Chilerxs Project?

This project is a branch of DESGUA (Desarrollo Sostenible en Guatemala), a community organization in Guatemala that works towards cultivating the "Guatemala dream" by promoting local social entrepreneurship projects meant to mitigate the need to migrate. Since 2008, DESGUA has started several initiatives to achieve the Guatemalan dream, we invite you to check out our website, as well as @lared.gt on IG to learn more about the initiatives.
