Support the Choun Family in Memory of Phon Mao Choung

Hello, my name is Judy and on behalf of the Choun family, it's with deep sadness and a heavy heart to share that my mother-in-law has recently passed away.

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, my mother-in-law, Phon Mao Choung, passed away peacefully at her home in Fall River, MA at the age of 77.

Phon was a woman of quiet strength, radiant warmth, and boundless kindness. Known for her nurturing spirit, she had a natural gift for connecting with others. She had a passion for creatively turning a simple house into a welcoming home and always greeted everyone with a thoughtful question, a caring heart, and a warm meal.

Above all else, her love language was rooted in acts of service—specifically through her diverse culinary talents. Every meal was a labor of love that reflected her generous spirit. Her life embodied selflessness, whether through her roles as a mother, a dedicated caretaker, a skilled seamstress, a guiding teacher, or an active member at the Cambodian Buddhist temple, Phon always served others with grace and devotion.

She was a rare soul whose kindness knew no bounds, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
