Support the clean up & repairs to community field-Northfield

Hi. I am headteacher at Bellfield Junior School, and along with the Infant school and Bartley Reds FC, we maintain a community field 100yds from the schools. It is used for over 400 children in the evenings and weekends with the club, and for the 450+ children from the 2 schools as well as other schools and community groups - so well over 1000 children from the local area. Holiday clubs, sports days, forest schools etc. On 27.6.24, a travelling community broke into and moved onto the field, and although the police moved them on 3 days later, extensive damage to the field, the storage containers, the fencing and the toilets/ changing rooms has been left. The field is funded by the schools, fundraising and by volunteers. We are looking for funds to be able to restore the electrics and fire safety in the building, replace 2 containers badly damaged, repairs to the fencing (& improving security) and to clean up the field so we can get it back to how it was - safe and for the children and our community.
