Dear CM Community,
Words cannot express how grateful we are that you have stuck with us and saw us through some of the toughest times that arts organizations have seen in a millennia. When COVID first happened and we shut our doors, we were not sure if they would ever open again. However through the dedication, generosity, and big hearts of those in our community, our doors reopened and we have been slowly digging out of debt and getting back on our feet.
One of our missions is to always provide high quality productions at prices that families in the community can afford, making the arts accessible to all. There is nothing like seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they experience live theatre for the first time! That spark and excitement is why we do what we do. We work so hard and passionately to continuously make those moments happen for those in our community.
Recently we have been blessed with amazing donations from incredible local businesses to freshen up our space. I am sure you have seen the beautiful new wallpaper in our theatre and the amazing ceiling in our lobby. Both projects were the result of generous donations. As our space started to look refreshed, so did our future. We were finally on a path forward that seemed hopeful and positive.
Unfortunately our path has now been blocked by a massive expense. Two of our HVAC units have now completely died and we are left without A/C or HEAT right as we head into winter. This is unfortunately an expense that we must cover in order to keep a comfortable and safe space for our community. After multiple quotes, the best we could find was $40,000 to replace both units. This expense is devastating for a not for profit arts organization.
Though we are embarrassed to ask the community that has been so dedicated to getting us back on our feet to once again help us, we do not have a choice. We humbly ask if you can spare ANYTHING to please donate to our Go Fund Me HVAC campaign. Any amount is appreciated beyond what words can express. Our team is passionately dedicated to creating magical moments and wants nothing more than to continue to do this for decades to come, and your donation will help us to do this.
I thank you in advance for considering to help us in this emergency. The only way we know how to show our appreciation is through song, so anyone who donates $100 or more will receive an invitation to a private “Donors Performance” of one of our upcoming productions. Please Kindly Consider Donating whatever you can!
