Help Furnish Aqsa Mosque in Aw Barre with Carpets for Prayer

As-salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

I’m raising funds on behalf of my aunt, who is collecting donations for the construction of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Aw Barre, a small town near the Somalia border. This masjid is an important project for the community, providing a dedicated space for prayer, learning, and gathering. The main goal is to raise funds for carpeting the prayer area, with each section costing $40. Donations will also help complete the remaining floors, and install windows and doors. Your contribution will directly fund the carpeting, creating a clean and comfortable space for worship.

This is a beautiful opportunity to give for the sake of Allah, especially in the last ten nights of Ramadan when rewards are multiplied. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah.”(Bukhari & Muslim). Every prayer, every Quran recitation, and every moment of worship in this masjid will be a continuous source of reward, InshaAllah.
