This fundraiser has been created to help the the Cope daughters pay for their mother’s funeral expenses.
We are devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of Chrissy Cope occurring exactly 11 months to the day after the loss of her partner of over 20 years, Ryan Cope. They leave behind two daughters, Destiny, age 20, and Brooklyn, only 11 years old, facing a pain no child should have to bare—the loss of both parents, without even the chance to say goodbye.
Their father passed unexpectedly from a heart attack, and the last few months for them have consisted of grieving, adjusting to life without their dad, cleaning out their childhood home, and working on settling the estate. In the midst of all this, Destiny made a phone call to her mom with Brooklyn by her side, and they were met with the sound of a coroner’s voice, explaining that their mother had passed suddenly in a car accident. They are left now with the beyond imaginable pain of hollow hearts and the desire to feel the warmth of their parents’ hugs or the sound of their voices.
They are currently struggling to find the funds to pay for their mother’s funeral service.
