It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edwin “Ed” L. Corner, loving husband, father and grandfather, on Wednesday December 25, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Barbara Corner. Surviving are: his loving wife of 46 years, Judy; his children Corey, Zach and Ashley; his grandchildren Madison, Makayla, Kyleigh, Abigail and Quinn; his siblings Susie, Janet, Mike, Jackie and Eric; and many more family and friends.

Ed was born May 19, 1958 in Grand Rapids, MI. He lived a life filled with kindness, hard work and love for his family and community. Ed was known for his unwavering dedication to his family and business, and his incredible sense of humor. He had worked as a grinder for over 40 years, owing his own company for 25 years. Beyond his professional achievements, Ed cherished his roles as a husband, father, and especially papa to his 5 grandchildren. He enjoyed tinkering and music, and being at the cottage, his “Happy Place,” with his people. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love, kindness and strength will continue to live on in our hearts.

Ed’s family will receive visitors Sunday December 29 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd. NW. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held Sunday after the visitation at the Post 179 American Legion, 2327 Wilson Ave SW Grand Rapids, MI 49534, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations toward the funeral expenses will be appreciated.
